Four Words.

The night after the launch, we asked each other a question:
What two words would you use to describe how you’re feeling right now?

Robyn: excited and humbled.
Nate: grateful and grounded.

We’ve spent the last two years making thousands of decisions together, but somehow reducing this particular moment to two words each felt difficult. Maybe because they say more than we expected them to.

For Robyn, excited is the easy one. There’s energy in finally reaching something we’ve talked about, imagined and worked toward for so long.

Humbled is quieter. It’s the feeling of wanting to take this seriously without taking any of it for granted. To recognize how much has gone into getting here, while knowing how much we still have to learn.

For Nate, grateful came first. Grateful to be here. Alive and breathing. Grateful that we have the ability to build something around an idea we care deeply about. For the people who have given their time, perspective and support along the way.

And grateful that we get to build it together.

Then, grounded. There’s a steadiness that comes from knowing we were intentional with what we made. We didn’t build Osero quickly. We gave ourselves room to question things, change direction, start over and wait when something didn’t feel right.

Not every decision was easy. We didn’t always agree immediately. But we trusted the process, and each other.

That’s what grounded means for us right now - knowing we’ve put forward something we believe in, without needing to know exactly where it will lead.

Four words.
Excited. Humbled. Grateful. Grounded.

Different feelings, but somehow very reflective of the way we’ve built Osero from the beginning.

Together.
