Lately, our days have been full.

Lately, our days have been full.

Our table is usually covered in some combination of fragrance samples, coffee, notebooks, packaging, things we’re reconsidering, and things we thought we had already decided. Osero is very close now to its first official limited release of 500 bottles. And we wanted to share a little of what life actually looks like while we’re building it. A few years ago, we moved to Vancouver Island. When we first arrived in Victoria, we lived downtown. We were new to the city and wanted to be in the middle of it, to walk everywhere, find our places, learn its rhythm and, eventually, understand its soul. We were finding our footing here, but in many ways, we were also finding a new rhythm within ourselves. Long walks became part of the day. The ocean was never far away. We moved more. Slowed down. Paid closer attention to the places we went, the things we consumed, the rituals we kept and how all of it made us feel.

Looking back, this is where Osero began, not as a brand, but as a feeling. We watched culture shift. A generation asking for something deeper- from the places we go, the people we meet, and the way we move through the world. More intentional. More ourselves. More connected.

Slowly, somewhere unfamiliar became home. We found our streets. Our fav places to eat. The coffee shops we kept going back to. We learned where the wind picks up coming off the harbour and the particular smell of the city after it rains. Salt. Wet cedar. Pavement. Earth. Those little nuances that you don't think much about at first eventually become part of everyday life.

We set out to pay closer attention. Osero is what happened once we did.
